Built with a die-cast aluminum frame and a machined aluminum spool for strength. Recessed reel foot and deep anodized stamped side plates help inhibit corrosion in a salwater environment. the reel's responsiveness lies in Shimano's Super Stopper as well as a high 5.8:1 gear ratio perfectly suited to fish lures such as worms or jigs which require a high-speed retrieve. Control over backlashes and free spool is complete thanks to Shimano's Variable Brake System (VBS).

Corvalus Reels

Features die-cast one-piece aluminum frame, with 3 bearings for smooth casts and retrieves. The 5.2:1 gear ratio, Super Stopper, Quick Take Down and is equipped with Shimano Variable Brake System to minimize over-runs. Comfortable and soft rubber handle grip. Models CVL400J, ACVL401 have non-disengaging levelwind and the clicker increases the tension on freespool and activates a clicking alarm when a fish bites.
