Bill' Sport Shop/Irish Eyes Striper Tournament

2012 Striper Tournament October 19th to December 7th. Entry Fee includes a free Tee Shirt and weekly buffet every Friday at Irish Eyes in Lewes from 5 PM to 7 PM

- Entry forms available at Bill's Sport Shop, Irish Eyes and at the door every Friday to 11/2.


Weekly Heaviest Striper!!!

$20.00 gets you in for all 7 weeks, total pot divided by 7 will be awarded weekly. All fish must be weighed in by close of business Thursday and monies awarded Friday night. The week will run Friday morning to Thursday night.

Heaviest Bluefish ˝ Day Charter

Lightest Legal Striper ˝ Day Charter

Wildcard prizes will be drawn from ALL Anglers. Drawing will be held December 7th.

>> Received an email from Bill Garten, Hudson, Ohio: “Hey Paul and Chuck - hope all is well - caught seven 18” blues in the surf in Bethany and six 15” Croakers - over the last four days caught over 25 blues ranging from 10 to 18” using your Mullet Rigs and love the Tsunami rods you sold me - thanks for all your help!”

>> Joe Barranco and his son were throwing flies and lures into the surf at Gordons Pond and had about a dozen hook ups with stripers up to 20” close to shore.

>> Kaylie Gross, 13, caught 3 tog. along with a 15” red drum and a 12” striper. Dylan Gross, 12, caught 11 tog and 2 seabass. Tyler Gros, age 10, caught a puffer and 2 tog. Thanks again, Bill, especially for the sandcrabs. Jerry Tomczyk

>> Sue Foster lets us know what is going on further south: “Water Temp: 68.4,

Lots of bluefish in the surf along with some kingfish, spot, pompano,

sharks, redfish, and trout. Friday and Saturday morning were really pretty

in Ocean City. (Then we had a little wind.) Tautog are biting along the

bulkhead and jetties. Flounder are still about from the Oceanic Pier, Rt. 50

Bridge and boats fishing near the Bridge or Inlet. Puppy drum and flounder

were biting from the Route 50 Bridge!”
