The party is over, and so is the tournament! As people were leaving Irish Eyes, they were wondering if we could run a tournament all year. “What are we going to do now on Friday nights???” With door prizes, charters, gifts and cash, we awarded a total of $20.000.00. Needless to say, everyone is already looking forward to next year.

Tyler Smith, Dover, caught a 31.10#, 40” striper for the heaviest fish on the last day of our tournament.
>> Charlie Moon, Millsboro, called to report that he caught 6 yellow perch to 13” and the next day, 3 pickerel to 25” at Ingrams Pond. The pickerel were caught on black salties.
>> A new DE State Record, was caught last week and weighed in at Old Inlet. The fish measured 51” and tipped the scales at 52#. Cut bunker was the bait used at DE Seashore State Park and the lucky angler was Ben Smith.
>> Sue Foster, Oyster Bay Tackle, OC let us know that the water temp: 49.1 and a few stripers were caught here and there from the beach. There was one potential new DE state record reported! stripers are still offshore. DEL Bay is seeing stripers and tautog. Big stripers in the Chesapeake Bay!
