Annual Flea Market
>> As always, our annual flea market, April 5, 5 AM, is free. We ask that you use only one space and bring your own table or use the back of your pickup truck. This year we are having lots of sales in honor of our 20th Anniversary. As a matter of fact, the flea market specials will be available for Sunday as well. All clothing will be 50% off for starters. Stay tuned…
So far, for the flea market, we have the following Manufacturers reps attending: Tica, Danielson, Shimano, AFTCO, PowerPro, AquaClear, Normark, Eagle Claw, Daiwa, Rapala, Striper King Gear, and Suffix. There will be free goods given out with purchase as well as BOGO deals.
Outside vendors are Striper King Gear, Over the Waves Sand Sticks, Delaware Paddlesports, Lil Angler II Charters, Fish Whisperer Charters Delaware Fisherwoman and Nautical Art by Ellie.
Chris Connor of ‘Long Dogs’ will be serving the food at our Flea Market. Please support him for your coffee and breakfast sandwiches.
>> April 12th, on our parking lot, we will have a US Coast Guard Auxiliary Commander, Bob Adams. He will inspect your boat and give you an inspection sticker. Bill’s Sport Shop will have everything you need to purchase to pass this inspection. No need to leave and worry about not getting your sticker that day.
Military Appreciation Day, Delaware Chapter
>> We are still in need of at least 20 more vessels for active military appreciation day (Mad). You do not have to be a licensed Captain. Please contact Bill Jr, 645 7654, for information on volunteering and donating.

>> Lt. Doug Messig of DNREC, F&W enforcement was able to get clarification on some issues:
1) Fishing without a F.I.N. number is the same as fishing with no license. The fine is $50.00 plus court costs of $56.00 for $106.00. This is to the individual, not the boat Captain. It is the individual's responsibility, not the boat owner.
2) The surf fishing permit is ONLY valid for the operator of the vehicle, and no one else. Enforcement will ask for the yellow copy that is to be kept with your vehicle and check against the driver's license.
