Since we met in late July 2008, you guys have been very good at selling me all my fishing gear to include rods & reels. Bill Jr and Paul always took time out to teach me how to fish in the ocean and wreck fishing. Always willing to show me things on the chart maps as well as helpful tips with using bait & tackle. You guys are simply "the best"!!! Ryan Lehmann sent this to me via FB messenger (He is a very proud Dad !!!): Way to go and congrats! Now he is hooked!!
On another trip “- My son, Nicholas Lehmann with his first flounder... EVER! Just legal at 16" on Site 10 today!! Aboard the ‘TOO EZ’ Well, Jr he did it again! We used green crab and fleas but the fleas got it done. The tog was 19'' and was caught by Melissa. We wanted to stop by with our catch but the traffic kept us at bay.”

>> Fishing Report by Sue Foster, Oyster Bay Tackle, OC. “Water Temp: 73.6. Fishing this week was pretty good on the flounder scene. There's tons of throw-backs but there's keepers too. Just got to keep working at them. The bay is absolutely full of croaker. They are not big but there are some keepers out there. Baby to 14” seems to be the norm. There's plenty of action for sure. Take your light tackle!. At night underneath the lights at the Oceanic Pier, anglers are catching shad, blues, short stripers and croaker. The Rt. 50 Bridge is seeing flounder and croaker by day and blues and short stripers at night. Surf is typical summertime with anglers seeing kingfish, spot, sharks, skates, snapper blues and croaker. A few puppy drum showing up around the South Jetty! There's also some triggerfish and tautog around the rocks. Party boats offshore are catching sea bass, flounder and some triggerfish. More and more flounder are showing up offshore. Further offshore are bluefin tuna, yellowfin tuna, dolphin, wahoo, sharks, and marlin.”
