>> Captain Aaron Hurd reports that the Bodner's fished with “Gale Force”. Dad, Noah, and Leo caught 30 blues on an inshore half day trolling trip. They had a few minutes left so they went flounder fishing at the Inlet. Dad promptly caught a 4 pounder in about three minutes on the first drop.

>> Sent by a customer via email: “After a bad night at the IRI, went back to Reedy Point Bridge and caught a 24" striper on bloodworms I got at Bill Bait Shop!”
>> Mike King sent us this: “Hey Bill, Ocean fishing was good to us today. Was able to land two mahi weighing in at 14.80 (.20# from a citation grrr) and one at 12.30#. Myself (Mike King) and Adam Leaman aboard the “Midnight Express” worked all over the inshore spots.”
>> Capt. Brian took Lilly Doud and Jay Droney out on the “Lil Angler II” and they Tag Teamed a white marlin to the boat.
>> Captain Bob of “Captain's Lady Charters” has been putting people on fish the last couple days!
>> Gene Poppitt, Millsboro, (formerly of Cedar Creek Deli), caught a citation sea bass at 3.29# and 19.5” at Site 11 on squid along with 4 keeper flounder and cod aboard “First Light Charters” with Captain Chuck Cook.
>> On Saturday, Capt. Rodney Jones knows how to catch flounder!
‘Team Smyrnadelphia’ put 11 in the box with quite a few throwbacks to boot..Fish on! Then on Sunday, Rodney Jones of “Fish Whisperer Charters posts: "Dang....Those “Fish Whisperer” kids can fish!....9 in the box in 3 1/2 hrs!! Fish on!" And Bill's Sport Shop asks.....BUT......WHO TAUGHT THEM???????? Great job Captain, on BOTH counts!

79.2. This week was great on flounder fishing offshore. In the bay, there were lots of "shorts" with a few keepers mixed in. We even heard of some nice flounder caught in the surf on finger mullet! Croaker are still in the northern areas of the bay and on the Ocean Pier. Some are offshore. Surf continues to have a mixed bag of kingfish, croaker, spot, snapper blues, sharks, and rays. All the party boats going in the ocean did excellent on flounder. Tuna were in the Washington and the Wilmington Canyons.”

>> Striped Bass Slot Limit Season. Area: The Striped Bass Slot Limit Season ONLY applies to Delaware waters of the Delaware River, Delaware Bay and their Tributaries. Season- July 1 to August 31. Size Limit- 20 inches to 26 inches (total length). Any Striped Bass less than or greater than the slot size must be released during this special season within the specified area. The 28 inch minimum size is in effect all other months. Possession Limit- Two (2) per angler.
>> Tautog is now open. The size limit is 15” and creel limit as follows: Jan. 1 - Mar. 31 - 5
