Our store is fully stocked for the summer season with a great selection of rods, reels, tackle, clothing, crabbing and boating supplies with brands like Guy Harvey, Pelagic, Aftco, Calcutta, St. Croix as well as a Perms & Worms and a Bill's Sport Shop line. We have a variety of "carts" for hauling gear to the beach and boat. For those who drive on the beaches, we have a nice selection of rod racks that mount to the vehicle. Our selection of reels include: Penn, Avet, Shimano, Daiwa, Abu Garcia, Okuma, Fin-nor, Quantam, Van Staal and more. Rods include: Star, St. Croix, G Loomis, Tsunami, Tica, Penn, Shimano, etc.
Just a reminder that Deli 88 in our Plaza, is open for breakfast and box lunches 7 days a week from 6am till 3pm.

Lineseders in the Indidan River Inlet, non-stop action on seabass on ocean wrecks, drum and flounder fishing in the Bay, dominate this week's news!
Don Ruth landed a 9.12Lb, 28.5" flounder to put him in 2nd place as well as a 6.66Lb, 26" flounder putting him also in 4th place.
Robert Scharmer moved into 9th place with a 3.35Lb tournament flounder.
Shawn Carpenter nailed a 17Lb, 39" striper on rubber fish at IRI.
Drew Martin hoisted a 19.6Lb, 39" striper over the rocks at the IRI using a rubber fish.
Kerry Lodish caught a 26.5Lb, 42" striper at IRI on rubber fish. On another trip, he landed his second citation 32.85Lb, 47" striper also caught on a plastic fish.
George Trout weighed in a 5.29Lb., 24" flounder placing him 8th in our tournament.
Maria Hemming used a bloodworm to tempt a 2.48Lb flounder on the Rehoboth Beach surf.
John Rupp managed 5th place by catching a 6.45Lb. tournament flounder.
Shawn Baynard caught seabass to 5Lbs with Capt. Ben on the "Wreck Stalker" and a 3Lb ling cod using clams on a wreck south of IRI.
David Markey of Lewes reported 16 seabass to 3Lbs, two 4' sharks, and a 21.5" flounder at site 11 on minnows aboard the "Reel Addiction".
Bill Love caught a 58.10Lb citation black drum in the DE Bay on clams.
George & Judy Hinkel beached 2 stripers to 19.60Lb at Savages Ditch using fresh bunker for bait.
Aaron Brommer wrestled a 13.75Lb, 35" striper from IRI on a Storm Lure.
Bryan Schiller caught a 19.75Lb, 38" striper at Conquest Rd. on clams.
John Goethe weighed in a tournament 8.05Lb, 27.75" flounder.
Trevar McCarthy weighed in a 3.30Lb tournament flounder placing 10th.
Jon(age 11), and Geoff Harper pulled 2 flounder up to 3Lbs at Masseys Ditch on a jig and chartreuse Gulp.
Tim Wallace caught a 42", 27.5Lb striper at IRI on bucktail.
Oakey Thompson reports good fishing for blues in IRI last weekend, catching and releasing 51 blues from 1/2Lb to 3Lbs using white bucktails and small Hopkins.
Captain Chris Thurmon of "Skipjack Charterboat" out of Lewes Harbor Marina, reported that he caught 300 sea bass with 130 keepers using clams and squid. He said this was the best bass trip in three years.
Heard from Capt. Steve Peterson, "Pandemonium Charters", out of Indian River Inlet (on our web page) "Ran our first charter with the Carpet Guys from New Castle fishing for sea bass. The bite was non stop with the guys catching over 300 bass." They also added a few nice cod.
Captain Chris of "Jam Man Charters", Lewes Harbor Marina, (Bills home page) reported they went 8 for 8 on drum scoring an 84.6 and 65 pounder using surf clams for bait while fishing at the Coral Beds.
The seabass opener was good on the "Grizzly". Black drum and flounder fishing continues in the Bay, harvesting a good number of drum to 76Lbs. They also had some nice cod.
Sue Foster of Oyster Bay Tackle in Ocean City, reports stripers, snapper blues and sharks were caught on bunker from the surf. Tautog and seabass fishing is open in MD and anglers are catching them. Stripers, shad and blues are hitting the inlets, Route 50 Bridge and Oceanic Pier.
Free Vessel Safety Check
May 29 at Massey’s Landing, May 30 at Lewes Boat Ramp. As part of National Safe Boating Week (May 29-June 6), free safety checks will be offered on Saturday, May 29 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Massey’s Landing and on Sunday, May 30 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lewes Boat Ramp by members of USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 12-09, Coast Guard Station Indian River. If you would like to schedule a vessel safety check for another time, call Flotilla 12-09’s Bill Tower at 945-3423 for an appointment.
Seabass fishing is now open. The limit per angler is 25 fish at 12.5".
