>> Fishing Report from Sue Foster, Oyster Bay Tackle, OC: “Water temp is 54.0. Tautog fishing is currently closed in Maryland waters until Jan.1,2015.Surf fishing report 12/02/14 - "We at Oyster Bay Tackle heard of a few short Stripers and some small Bluefish caught in the suds around 113th street. The Stripers were caught casting swim shads; the Blues were caught on finger mullet."
>> SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 31, 2014 Larry Jock reports: "I wish I could update the report more often, but quite honestly, either there hasn't been anything to report or the wind has been too strong to even get out. The good news is that the stripers are definitely here and water temperatures are still hovering around 50-degrees, so there is plenty of fishing time left. We usually see them stick around until the water reaches 40-degrees, and then they become scarce or gone. Anglers were able to get out on Saturday and Sunday. Fish were caught on the troll inside the 3-miles up and down the line. Stripers are being caught north of the Inlet, up to Bethany Beach (Sea Colony), and continue to be caught south of the inlet (down by the Sliver) as well. The Lewes Harbour Marina Striper Tournament ran from October 25th to November 25th. Joe said that not as many fish were weighed this year. The winner was a 44.8 pounder caught at Overfalls Shoal in early November.
Sea bass fishing continues to be good on offshore structure. The Radford wreck was a good spot for knotheads recently. The "Angler" had a good day on Saturday with many sea bass limits and bluefish up to 12 lbs. Fish were caught on Diamond jigs and squid."
Dave Lynam and Billy McMahon Limited out on 12-3-14 using MoJo's trolling off of Sea Colony
