>> Do you keep your Bluefish? If you do, and you want the best flavor, bleed out the fish IMMEDIATELY! That "dark" streak will be less, and the fish will be cleaner and the meat more "Blue"!!
>> I posted a picture of Allen Hastings earlier today, but what I didn't mention was that he told us that it was the largest fish he ever caught! Also, as I was taking the picture, I noticed that by his left hand, the fish was cut. When I asked him, he told me he read my post about bleeding the fish! Allen, I hope you let us all know how it tastes!!
>> Tony Ciferni, Dover, weighed in 4 bluefish up to 10#. He was fishing from the Lewes Beach at CHSP using fresh bunker.
>> Paula Gallagher, Milford, was fishing IRI beach and caught a 12.15# bluefish using cut bunker. The fish measured 35.5".
>> Mike Andrews, Dover, nailed 4 bluefish tossing cut bunker while fishing at Broadkill Beach. The largest fish weighed 11.10# and measured 33".
>> Mike Hacker sent us a picture of his 31" bluefish he caught at Broadkill using bunker chunks.

>> Clayton Reynolds, Lewes, DE., caught a 5.85#, 28" bluefish from the Lewes Beach using mullet.
>> Tony Evans sent this, AWESOME!!! 28" red drum at IRI caught on high slack tide using mullet on the bottom.
>> "Last week at your flea market I bought a small closed face reel and small rod. Bill’s took the time to put line on the reel for my 5 year old grandson, and we fished at Milton—Diamond Pond. Using a bobber and night crawlers, he caught 4 fish —3 sunnies and a nice perch-- and was beyond excited. He is actually the one “hooked”—for life. He loved putting them back so they could go home. Many thanks for your help. Jim."
>> "Hi Guys, I did not get to swing back to the shop to show you my catch on Saturday. I caught a 32" blue at Cape Henlopen near the protected bird area. Got the blue on a strip of bunker. I have attached the photo. This was better then trout fishing in PA. for sure." Steve Gochenaur, Lancaster, PA."
>> "Hey guys, Matt and Colton caught blue fish at Broadkill on bunker chunks."
>> Michael Poinelli emailed us: "We fished Coin Beach Saturday with 0 action. Sunday we headed to the Naval Crossing Beach. It was THICK with bunker and huge pods of dolphins feeding on them. The bunker pods were running through our lines making the rods bounce and getting twisted up behind the gill plates. then we went up to Plum and setup and had constant skates. We ended up moving to the back side to the river in the afternoon and slammed blues up to 34" left and right. My girlfriend, Melissa, came away with the largest for the day. Plum bay side never did turn on."
>> Russ Norris sent us via facebook: "Looks like Roosevelt Inlet: 14 year old Wayne Norris III with a nice blue from the blue fish blitz of 2015".
>> Eric and April Comley sent via facebook: "My son, Gavin Comley, caught a bluefish this past weekend on Beach Plum; 8 years old and reeled it in by himself."
> .Thomas Mack sent pictures of his daughters: "My girls had an awesome time. Their first big fish! (3 blues in the 10 lb category)"
>> Four year old Chase Patton, is at it again with his dad, Greg Patton. Greg sent us another picture of the 2 of them with another 8# blue from the surf via facebook!
>> "My girlfriend, Rachael and I, were complete newbies to surf fishing and took your 101 class on Saturday 4/25/2015. Literally 2 hrs after class we used your tips (casting closer to shore than our neighbors) to get this nice blue at Beach Plum with bunker. Your $15 class more than paid for itself the same day... thanks again, Vic and Rachael"
>> "Just a shout out to your staff and store for turning me on to stripers a year ago. I was slamming the blues Saturday night on bunker at Broadkill. All were in the 10 to 15# range. Runs for a bit then stop; then hours later all over again."
>> Per Rick's Bait and Tackle...Blues are being caught at Massey's landing (This was taken from their facebook page)
>> Rumors of big drum being caught at Broadkill Beach on blue crabs and live sand fleas that people are digging up on their own.
