Here's Allie fighting one of them…The Gregorio crew fished in an attempt to get down to the rockfish off the north wall. The heavy boat traffic pushed the bluefish all the way out there and kept us from really working the rock. They caught schoolies and kept 5 blues for smoking…Pat, Pat, Deanna, and Mark fished with us…and caught blues to 14.5# along with Deanna's 18” flounder…Tom, Joe, Tom, and Rob fished with us this afternoon and had a big time fighting rockfish and blues. In the end we kept a 30” rock and 11 blues. One rock we had to the boat was abt 40” so we didn't feel bad when it spit the hook at boat side…Sharon and Tom DeVanna fished with us and had a bit of fun with the rockfish. A limit of 4 kept with another 15 released up to 40”. John Hennessey, Danny Ray Yoder, Linda Yoder and their daughter Anna fished with me today. We had two very short, a 25, a 26.5, and a 39 rockfish that all had to go back. Linda seriously showed up everyone with both the big ones.
