>> Delaware Paddlesports Kayak Saltwater Series - Well the forecast hasn't changed any so unfortunately we have decided to cancel this weekends Saltwater kayak fishing tournament. With this being the last tournament in the series for 2015 the points total for Angler of the year will not change. So I'm proud to announce, with 99 total points, Matt King has won Angler of the year for 2015! With winning AOY, Matt has a sweet trophy and a Werner Camano hooked paddle worth $375 coming his way!!

>> Jeff Cushner and Tracy Rajowski, Wilmington, caught trigger fish at the Haystacks on squid. They weighed 4.45 and 3.55#.
>> Tony, Dave, and Jon fished with 'Gale Force Charters' for a half day trip. The guys kept 9 flounder from 17" up. Three were about 5# . Lost count of the throwbacks. On another trip, Danny, Ray, John, and Ron finished with 12 keeper flounder.
>> Delaware Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police Officer Field Report Friday Sept 18, 2015: Senior Corporal Jeff Howell saw a rare sight today while patrolling the Delaware Bay. He was lucky enough to see a whale swimming in the Delaware Bay near Channel Marker #25 East of Miah Maul Light House. SCpl. Howell wants to remind all boaters to keep a safe distance from the whale and to not approach it for it's safety and yours. We have not confirmed the species at this time as soon as it is confirmed we will update the post. Let us know your guess!
>> Delaware Jet Ski fishing group posted: "Lightship fishing trip planned for Sunday. The more the merrier. All day trip - RSVP and we will get a meeting spot/time locked in.
>> There she goes again!!!!! Adriana and crew went to the Old Grounds and picked a 3 person limit, with lots of throwbacks, along with a couple blues! Great job!
>> Paul Miegel, Denver, PA, caught a 19", 2.65# flounder in Canary Creek on gulp and shiner.
>> Matt Nein sent a message saying he caught a couple small blues in the surf today on whole mullet rigs! He also sent another message that a buddy of his limited out on some nice blues at the point this morning.
>> Erik Vamos sent us this report: "Took the family to Faithful Steward Crossing this past Sunday and caught quite a few blues. They were using cut mullet on top and bottom rigs. His son Owen at 2 1/2 years old even got to pull a few in! ... he wasn't afraid to handle them!"
>> Paul Powalski fished the surf with mullet and had a short drum and several blues with 1 over 14".
>> Customers reported that they are getting stripers in the middle of the night at IRI on rubber worms with a keeper or two thrown in..
>> 'Gale Force Charters' went out with Barry, Mindy, Sade, Amelia, and Dakota. They finished with 10 keeper flounder, blues, and a false albacore and SKATES. Had to include a photo of my personal best flounder at 26.25" and 7.5#. Nice morning for no drift.
>> 'Grizzly Sportfishing' had a great overnight trip Friday into Saturday, harvesting a limit of yellowfin tuna, plenty of skipjack, a couple dolphin and a nice dusky shark release. Then back out again on Friday for a nice day trip harvesting a bunch of tilefish and dolphin.
>> 'Fish Whisperer Charters' took the Michael Vince group out on Saturday and put 15 Mahi, 10 blue runners a triggerfish and a golden tilefish in the box.
>> Capt Mary of 'Blue Collar Man Sport Fishing' went out for an 8hr bottom trip Saturday and had 7 nice keeper flounder and 3 nice bass. Caught a lot of short fish. All keeper fish were caught on pearl white squid flounder rigs.We were fishing out at A bouy.
>> 'Captain's Lady Charters': "Some fish from today's catch, croaker, flounder, blues and spot. Thank you Milford Fire Company. Enjoyed having you all on today had a lot of fun and along with the trip the 'Captains Lady' will make another $100 donation to the Terry Farrell fund.
>> The DMS Invitational Surf-Fishing Tournament will be held October 9, 10, & 11, 2015
>> Tog opens today. Sea Bass - reopens 10/18 through end of the year.
