>> Synopsis of fishing report:

Blues: On the beaches, RI, IRI, CHSP Pier....use silver or a chunk of mullet, you can also use whole mullet.

Flounder: They are not in the same place 2 days in a row, but they are still being caught in the usual spots. IRI, RI (also Canary Creek), Masseys, DB Buoy, Old Grounds, DA Buoy, sites 10 and 11. Use minnows, squid, shiners.

Triggers and Sheepshead: The Hay Stacks AKA The Ice Breakers. Clams, sand fleas, bloodworms.

Striper: Still waiting, but there are schoolies being caught at IRI and RI, also at Canary Creek.

Spot and Croaker: Go to the CHSP Pier!!!! Use Bloodworms.

Surf fishing produced small blues and a few sharks.

The Inner and Outer Wall have been producing some nice tog.

>> Paul Powalski fished the surf with mullet and had a short drum and several blues with 1 over 14".

>> Customer stopped in this afternoon and was actually fishing at the Inlet, caught 2 and lost a third flounder using a bluefish rig and artificial worm . Oh the weather outside is frightful but ah yes the fishin is delightful.

>> Bucktail Bob went to Outer Wall (during the N'oreaster) and limited on tog to 18" with a few throwbacks. The bite was split between green crabs and sanfleas.

>> Bob Thomas reported that the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal was clean not dirty at all.

>> Rich Harpel said Massys was very dirty.

>> The jetty guys came in and got eels and are fishing tonight, hope to have a report for ya tomorrow.

>> Blackfish / tog fishing starts October 30th... sailing fri, sat and sun 6:30 to 3pm? we will continue to sail all winter.. the fare remains the same as the last 4 years, $ 90.00... we sell out at 25 people maximum... green crabs provided and white crabs are generally available at the dock for a nominal fee... reservations are required and we accept visa/ mc / discover and amex to hold your spot.. please bring a realistic cooler.. make sure it fits under a bench .. www.rehobothstarfishing.com 302-727-6601

>> Mike Jordan reports sheepshead being caught at the Wall.

>> Salvatire Mezzatesta, Dover, caught a citation tog weighing 8.25# and measuring 26" at the Outer Wall on sand fleas. He and his friend ended up with 6 keepers and many throw backs.

>> There are still flounder being caught at Masseys Landing on minnows and cut mullet.

>> A special thank you to all of those invovled in Military Appreciation Day. You have gone above and beyong the call of duty.

>> The DMS Tournament produced varied types of fish including 1/2 dz stripers to 26"

one short sheepshead, blue fish, the largest being 14-1/2", and one kingfish and a 21" black drum.

>> Steve Perrin and Bucktail Bob limited on tog to 19" on green crabs at the Outerwall.

Anglers at CapeHenlopen were catching lots of small blues on mullet.

>> Lee from PA just stopped in the store and said that he was hitting 18+" blues on the surf at Conquest Rd. He did say you needed to walk out a ways but they are there with 4 nice fish total. Thanks for the report Lee, keep them coming

>> A customer reported catching big!!!! white perch in Petersfield Ditch along with some small stripers,


>> Tog is open - Sea Bass opens the 18th through the end of the year.
