>> Synopsis of Fishing Report
> Still a lot of small blues off the beaches and an ocassional short striper. The bigger fish should be showing up as the water temps start to cool and fish start making their migration south.
> Tog bite at inlet and Walls is getting better using sand fleas and green crabs
Some keeper tog are starting to show up. .
> PLENTY OF SHORT STRIPERS AT NIGHT IN THE INLET. Still waiting on the Fall run to get underway with stripers and blue fish starting to show up off the Jersey beaches. There has been talk of some bigger stripers showing up in the back bays and Rehoboth Bay.
> Lots of short stripers with a few keepers to 30" are reported at Massey's Ditch on speck rigs and bucktails.
> Vehichle beach access has been difficuly at high tide the last few days, with the full moon cycle and the astronomical high tides.
> We have green crab for the tog fisherman, as well as sand fleas.
> Crabbing continues to be good especially out of Gull Point.
>> Myung Choi fished the Pier with mullet and caught 4 dogfish and some ling cod.

>> Gordy Kautz and Walt Cunningham had a blast boating sea bass at the African Queen on the 'Forever Young' out of Fenwick Island. Gordy said they caught over 100 and keeping 30.
>> Mo Hussin, Middletown DE, and Nino Mallari, Newark DE, caught their limit of tautog off their boat 'Backlash' out at the Outer Wall on green crabs. Mo weighed in a nice 7.55# tog at 21.5". Nino Mallari (aka Hollywood) checked in his tautog at 7.45#, 22" on green crabs.
>> Brian Abrams, Elkton, Maryland, had a great day on the water at the Outer Wall when he snagged two nice tautog up to 20". And on another trip, Brian Abrams with his friend Kelley Stevenson, Elkton, Maryland, had a good time when Kelley's first time out at the wall netted a total of 5 tautog using green crabs they got here this morning. I think Kelley is hooked on fishing here in Delaware.
>> The Milford Six took a trip on the 'Wreckaholic' and pulled in a boat load of bass in 2 3/4 hours. Also had one frisky flounder at 22" 121 fish on! One spot
>> Still a few flounder hangin' out in the Canal. Joe Ruff reeled in this fine flattie in front of Lewes Harbour Marina today. You can see this nice flounder on Lewes harbours Facebook page along with Bills Sport shops what a great fish for November
>> Captain Brian's bassers on 'Lil' Angler II' had a big day, boating over a hundred keeper knotheads, plus a nice batch of blues to boot.
>> F.Tackett and crew fished the Outer Wall and caught their limit on tog using green crabs. They said they had to work at it but wound up with a nice catch of tog.
>> Scotton Landing Fishing Pier to close Nov. 2-13 for re-decking project
The closure will allow the contractor to remove and replace the existing wooden deck and handrails. The fishing pier was originally built in 1986 and has become a popular fishing and crabbing attraction with local residents and visitors to the tidal St. Jones River along the southbound side of Route 1
