>> Kingfish are being caught on the surf using bloodworms.
>> Pieces of mullet are the ticket for ling cod.
>> In our surf, from Cape Henlopen to 3Rs we have reports of blowfish, kingfish, skates, shark and blue fish.
>> At the Broadkill we have weakfish and bluefish
>> Site11 is producing sea bass, thresher, sharks and flounder.
>> Site 10, flounder.
>> IRI flounder ,striper and blue fish

>> K. Floyd fished the Washington and they came away with 5 nice yellowfin and 6 dolphin.
>> Talking with a customer today who, along with his friend, has been catching keeper flounder at Canary Creek using bucktails and Gulp.
>> Matt Knowles, Shamokin, PA, nailed a 12.6# blue using a bucktail at Roosevelt Inlet.
>> A customer reported catching 30 kingfish north of the inlet on bloodworms and Fishbites.
>> Josh Benedict, age 14, caught a 10.55# blue at Roosevelt Inlet.
>> Small blues off the beach at 3 R's Rd.
>> Keeper stripers at 35” were taken at IRI at the beginning of the incoming tide on sand fleas with many throwbacks.
>> The flounder bite is really picking up on the offshore sites now.
>> The cleaning table was covered with flounder today. Dillion Mitchell, Joe McNeal, Ian Wolk, Steve Kiibler, Tyrone Waters, C.A. McLeod, Vincent Lindsey and Jim Doyle fished on the Katydid with Capt Brent Wiest and mate Chris Vann at B buoy and caught tons of flounder.
>> Crabs are fat and plentiful at Gull Point and the Power Plant.
>> Bob Foster at Oyster Bay Tackle reports: Ocean City Inlet water temp. 64 degrees, Delaware buoy 66 degrees. June 13, 2016 Flounder are starting to make a showing around the offshore artificial reefs and wrecks. Also, sea bass fishing continues to be steady around the ocean structures. Flounder catches in the back bays continues to be slow. Surfcasters are catching lots of skates and to show up in the surf and are taking bloodworms and Fishbites. We have reports of some keeper size tautog coming from the bulkhead between 2nd St. and 4th St. Short stripers are active early in the morning and late afternoon around the North jetty. The stripers are hitting rattletraps, Gotcha plugs and bucktails.

>> The Wreckaholic caught 4 yellowfin to 40# on skirted bally trolling between the Washington and the Norfolk according to Capt. Rodney Jones.
>> A Stretch of beach at Gordons Pond in Cape Henlopen State Park will close starting Monday, June 13 to safeguard the first nest of piping plovers found there this season.
>> Public asked to report sick or dead wild birds to DNREC’s Mosquito Control Section for 2016 West Nile virus monitoring.
>> A flounder tournament is scheduled at Riverside Grill in Oak Orchard on June 16, 17 and 18. All weigh-ins are at Riverside Grill with a seafood buffet on the 18th at the end of the tournament. There is a $15.00 fee and a $10.00 Calcutta. If you need more info contact Scott love at 3028643144.
