> >THEY'RE HERE!!!!!!! Reports of keeper striper being caught at Cape Henlopen State Park, right off the beach, and also at Massey's Landing. Both during the day and also at night!
> >Customer stopped in to buy fresh bunker and told me a friend of his got his limit of stripers in 1 hour earlier today, and also saw 10 other stripers caught at CHSP. (did not want name used, but the customer was George Mood, and his friend was Rick Ranali)
> > A customer emailed us: "Hey Bill, How you doin? Weighed in a few nice stripers. Kenny Gregg used a cut herring and minnow combo to trick a 10 Lb 10oz striper while drifting thru Massey's Ditch. George Mood took a 33 pounder that measured 40 inches while soaking fresh bunker from
Cape Henelopen Beach. We have had a few keeper flounder taken in Indian River but most are just short. Thanks and Good Luck, Rick"
> >Aaron Brommer reported catching his first keeper flounder this year on shiner and Gulp combo weighing in at 19.5" at the Pier, at night. He also reported catching 20" blues along with seeing many more blues.
> >Sue Foster, Oyster Bay Tackle, OC reports that the water temperature (WTMP): is 52.0 °F°. Anglers had luck fishing from boats! The first flounder was caught from the Route 50 Bridge and the Oceanic Pier. Stripers were caught on the Rt. 50 Bridge. Tautog hit from the bulkhead and Oceanic Pier. Though most of Easter Weekend saw rough surf, some days anglers caught some drum, stripers, skate, blowfish, and a few bluefish from the surf. Mike Tompkins from Dover caught a 5.72 lb striper . Michael Kurtz of Fenwick Island caught his limit of flounder including the big guy! 5 pounds, 10 oz. 25-inches long. He was fishing with John McBridge of Ocean City aboard the "Dairy Queen" fishing with live minnows in the Thorofare.
> >Jordan Jones from Falls Church, Virginia, did it again! Last year, he caught a carp in Broadkill River; now, a black drum on Rehoboth North Shores at Tidewater Rd. He caught the monster just after sunset on the beach at Henlopen Acres. The great fish fell to a bloodworm purchased from Bill's Bait & Tackle. I didn't have a ruler, but it was quite large, possibly over 40" He was hoping for a rockfish, but was happy to catch the drum.
