The great bluefish bite slowed way down in winds that gusted from the west at 30 mph. Anglers struggled to catch some tautog and flounder in the bay. As soon as the wind let up a bit, the fish started biting once again. Tautog and flounder bite has been excellent and stripers are showing...".
>> Tom and Sharon DeVanna, Reading, PA, fished with "Gale Force Charters" on Sunday in the Inlet. and caught stripers, bluefish and black sea bass. The pair released all their catch for another day.
>> Captain Carey Evans, "Grizzley Sportfishing Charters" reports that tog fishing has shown some good results, along with triggerfish and sheepshead to keep things interesting. Tog fishing should do nothing but improve as the waters cool this month. Striper fishing will be right around the corner as well.
