>> Water Temp: 55.9 degrees according to Sue Foster, Oyster Bay Tackle, OC. "A few nice stripers were caught in the surf, but the bite was very "hit or miss." Tautog picked up inshore. Sea bass was excellent offshore. A few stripers were caught offshore, but not many. Some stripers inshore around the Bridges."

> >From Captain Carey Evans, "Grizzly Sportfishing Charters" out of Fishermans Wharf in Lewes: "Hi, Bill, Tuesday we had 9 stripers, two over 20# and 2 undersized stripers. Wednesday we had 58 tog up to 10#, 4oz. Heard you're report this morning and thought you might be able to use this. Thanks for all you do for the local fishing community. We have experienced some fine tog and striper fishing the last two weeks. When we get a nice weather break things have really come together for excellent fishing. The good tog fishing we are experiencing should remain strong thru the Christmas Holiday. Striper fishing has just begun and will get better thru the Christmas Holiday as well."
