This Friday is the last social. Prizes will be awarded for the winning striper and tog. Wild Card drawings will be held for all the contestants in the tournament.
Everyone agrees that this year was the best yet. The owner of Irish Eyes and staff were friendly, provided excellent service, and presented great meals.
Tournament anglers can order extra tee shirts, long sleeve tee shirts, sweat shirts and hoodies. Stop by the store or see Kathy or Ellen at the table on Friday night.
The final Calcutta is worth $1750.00.
Final Tog is: 1st place - $612.50, 2nd place - $367.50 and 3rd place is worth $245.00.

>> Sam and Chris Diebold of Northeast Md, caught two 34" stripers, several throwback flounder, some sharks and had a 28" blue to the boat and lost it. They were at Overfalls Shoal using eels.

>> Stripers from Overfalls, taken on eels by Chris Perrin, weighed in at 28.03#, 43" and Steve Perrin Sr. holding a 24.20#, 41 3/4".
>> On another trip, young Chris Perrin caught a citation tog which weighed 7.05 #, 18" girth and was 23" long taken from the Indian River.
>> Several reports came in that Broadkill Beach is produing ling cod on mullet.
>> David Webb weighed in a 23#, 40" striper taken on an eel at Overfalls
>> The Powalski's, Paul and son Paul Michael, weighed in stripers taken on eels from Overfalls weighing in at 20.50# and 14.70#.
>> Jim Azato took a 23.95# and Chris Willey a citation 34.65#, 45 3/4" striper from Overfalls with both catching their limit on eels.
>> Tom Bailor boated a 34" striper taken on eels at the Eights
>> Terry Crow weighed in a 22.20# striper taken on eels between the 8's and Overfalls.
>> Michelle Webb caught her 27.25#, 42" striper taken on eels at Overfalls.
>> Mark Stiegler called in from the Point and had 8 ling cod in the cooler.
>> Received a call from a customer who was fishing at Broakill Beach and told us he caught a 52" striper along with 2 other keepers. What a shame he wasn't in our tournament!!!
>> Mike Rivera, Captain of "On Delivery Charters", called to report they caught 180 sea bass up to 3 1/2#, at the 20 Fathom wrecks and a10# cod. The next day they fished the inshore wrecks and caught a lot of tau tog to 3 Ĺ#.
>> Joe Battista, past president of the DMS, sent us an email: "Hi Bill, Today I fished with my sons. We fished the Overfalls and I caught a 20#, 40" striper on live eel. I'll send you a picture tomorrow Morning."
>> Bucktail Bob weighed in another tournament tog to put him in 2nd place. With this one, at 8.90#, a 18 1/2" girth and 24" it moves him also into third place with his 7.20#.
>> Bob Bunch, a contestant in BSS Tournament, weighed in a citation striper of 38.20#, 45 1/2" with a girth of 27", not quite good enough to beat the 3rd place fish of 38.25 but should put him in 4th place. Also caught was a 11.6# blue. He was fishing the Delaware Bay.
>> Captain Charlie Helmer, "Tranquila Sport Fishing", let us know that they caught 3 stripers, all 25-35#. He said the big boys are still here and the big numbrs are right around the corner.
>> Gary Chandler and Rich Harpel, Millsboro, DE, caught stripers, 22.5 and 18.30# in the DE BAy drifting eels.
>> Sue Foster, Oyster Bay Tackle, sent her report from OC: "Water Temp: 55.8 degrees (Note: Oyster Bay Tackle will be closing for the season Mid-December this year so please get your Xmas Shopping done now!)A couple nice stripers were caught in the surf, but the bite was very "slow." Saw a report that anglers in N.J. are landing them pretty good.
Tautog was excellent on the "tide". Sea bass was good offshore. A few stripers were caught offshore Ocean City, but not many. Some stripers inshore around the Bridges. Delaware Bay seems to be the "happening" place for big stripers and tog."
>> "Good morning Capt.Bill, On Saturday we went out to the rips, Tammy Parker, Henry Parker and Capt. Kevin Parker on the "FISHIN FOOLZ". We caught a limit of six stripers up to 25lbs. We were on our way back to the dock by noon .On Sunday, Tammy and I took Larry Thomas with us. The fish didnít cooperate as well; But Larry did manage to catch a nice 37Ē striper weighing in at 21 lbs. at the rips. Thanks." Kevin Parker
