> >From Sue Foster, Oyster Bay Tackle, Ocean City Md.:
“Flounder fishing was good on Monday then weather set in, and we didn't hear much after that until Saturday. Surf saw a few stripers, some reports of black drum, a few snapper blues, sharks, and lots of skates. Some stripers are being caught at night around the Route 50 Bridge,

Thorofare, and the Bridge crossing over to Assateague. Tautog are still about. Offshore, the news is tautog and a few red hake. Surf fishing picked up just a little. Anglers on Assateague had some good luck. Allen Sklar had one day that he caught 6 black drum and 2 keeper stripers all in one day. He has been using Crab Flavored Fishbites along with some freshly dug sand crabs.”
