>> The Pier at Cape Henlopen Stat Park is reporting small spot and croaker along with red fish, weakfish and a nighttime flounder blitz. Bloodworms, Gulp and minnows seem to be working best.
Blues are reported in the IRI.
Offshore is hot with white marlin.
Kingfish, bluefish and short stripers are in the suds.
>> Chuck Nagle of Bill's Sport Shop caught a 19” trout at Massey's Landing.
>> Mike Jamgochian, Rehoboth Beach, caught a weakfish weighing 2.1# and measuring 18.5” at Pier on a strip of spot.
>> Rick Tate, Dallastown, PA pulled an 18” black drum over the rails at Massey's Landing using sand fleas.
>> Bill Jr. of Bill's Sport Shop landed a 22” flounder at Massey's Landing using white
>> Lots of false albacore are being caught at A Buoy on yozuri plugs. A customer reported there were times that they had 2 on at a time.
>> Received an email from Mike Tamczyk: “Between my Dad and I we got about 7 or 8 tog, the biggest around 11"...”
>> As reported on DSF (DE Surf Fishing): “Doug Layfield nailed a 22” trout on bloodworms in the Lewes Canal.
>> And in the strange fish category: a juvenile amber jack was caught in the Rehoboth Bay, a lizard fish outside Massey’s Ditch and some porcupine puffers were caught by Bill, Jr. and his fiance Ellen at Massey’s.
